Actually it was lucky I took these photos on Wednesday as I ended up being home from work sick yesterday (had a migraine from not sleeping for several nights because it was so hot). It is now Friday and I am off to the hairdresser soon to get my hair tidied up. The weather has also cooled down since then so I am no longer wearing my sandals to the office.

hair looks hot (not temperature hot)
It always amuses me to hear people in the Southern Hemisphere talk about summer and heat in December/January. Here in the Northern Hemisphere we are dealing with cold, snow and ice. It is refreshing to know that somewhere it is hot and people are relying on their air conditioners to make it through the day/night.
Today we were in the 50s (Farenheit) in the next couple of days it will drop even lower for highs in the low 40s. They are calling for snow flurries. I'm in the warmer part of the US.
btw....I prefer winter. I hate hot, makes me sick.n I love wearing sweaters, layers and knee socks.
Our normal highs in the summer are in the 90's (F) with high humidity. You can feel the air, it's miserable. I would like to live in a more temperate climate, some place that gets all four seasons. But, I'm stuck in Alabama, USA; which means no real winter and a long hot summer.
I hate hot.
here a hug for you and hoping you feel much better now
